I have so very few close friends, and I have had people I’ve known for years suddenly ditch not just me, but seemingly everyone they knew online or off, for their significant other. I believe that your significant other should probably be the most important person in your life, but not the only important person. What if you fall out of love, or your significant other cheats and lies to you, or simply are never there? You need multiple people to rely on. Even if you’re not in a relationship.
